Vienna Beach Trophy 2025 Results

Sun, heat, and fierce competition! The 2025 Vienna Beach Trophy lit up the sand on 9August, bringing together 12 women/FLINTA* competing in a Queen of the Court format and 27 male and mixed teams for a full day of beach volleyball action.Up to nine courts at the Beach Volleyball Centre Schmelz were full of energy as two Viennese LGBTIQ+ clubs—Aufschlag Wien and Vienna’s Queer Melange—teamed up to host this traditional summer event. This year again, many teams came from abroad, such as from the Czech Republic, Germany, and Slovenia.

The FLINTA* competition was won by Maria. The male/mixed edition was contested at three levels: In the highest level, B+, theteam Camaron y Piranja from Ljubljana came out on top. In B-, another Slovenian team, Serving Realness, took the gold medal. In C, Vienna-based Hot Tops claimed first place.

But the fun started even earlier! On Friday, the day before the main event, Vienna witnessed a unique premiere—the very first Naked Beach Volleyball Tournament, held in the nudist area of the legendary Gänsehäufel, a popular outdoor swimming pool and beach in Vienna, located on an island in the Old Danube. With nine daring teams taking part, the victory went to Tommy Wanks & Tammy Salami.

The weekend concluded in style with the official afterparty at Camera Club, where players celebrated until the early hours.
